A contract for deed (also called a land contract) is a form of owner financing where the buyer makes payments directly to the seller over an agreed-upon term. No banks, no credit checks, no lengthy approval process.

How it works: You make a down payment followed by fixed monthly payments. Once all payments are complete, the deed transfers to you. You can use and enjoy the property during the payment period.
